As some of you may have noticed, I have been pretty MIA as of late. Why? Simply put, life. It's been quite an adjustment going from being a full time grad student (graduated with my Masters of Library and Information Science in August!!!) to a full time grown-up- from (rather unsuccessfully) trying to find a job in my field, to working the holidays at my current job, a gourmet chocolate store (my GAWD, it's just holiday after HOLIDAY- from Halloween, to Christmas, to Valentines Day, to Easter, all of which people want copious amounts of chocolate- A chocolatier gets no time to all but breathe from October to April), and everything else in between.
Plus, it doesn't help that I've been in a book rut for what seems like AGES (a lot of which is, admittedly, to blame on my recent discovery of Netflix)- for the first time in years I didn't read over 100 books in a single year and I've only read 4 books this year so far (though I have read "Ignite Me" three times already, so maybe that counts for something). Which therefore has resulted in me falling a bit out of love with blogging.
So what does this mean for the blog? You, unfortunately, won't be seeing much from me until I can once again find my groove- though, in the next two months you'll see about 6-8 ARC reviews!
Thanks y'all for sticking with me during my "MIA" phase- I appreciate you more than you'll ever understand!

Where in the World is Avery?
If you're a follower of my blog, you probably know that for years I stuck to a fairly rigid blogging schedule- blogging almost every day. However, as you may have noticed, my blogging schedule has become somewhat erratic over the last couple of months.
There are a few reasons for this, one being that I'd much prefer my blog to be a place of reviews rather than memes (I used to participate in three or four a week, now few to any), another being school. I have been going to school full time since last September non-stop and it really eats a lot of my time (not to mention working near full time on top of that).
But... *Drum roll please* I do finish my masters of library and information science in two weeks (TWO WEEKS!!!!!), so hopefully I will be able to get back to regularly blogging!
Thanks y'all for sticking with me and welcome to my new followers!

MIA(ish)
I just wanted to let y'all know that I will be MIA-ish for the next couple of weeks (I'll still be posting here, just a bit more irregularly than usual)- between the holidays, going back to work full time (you know what people go crazy over during Christmas? Gourmet chocolate! If I come home covered in scratches and bite marks [not from the cats] it's probably because I had to break up a fight between two customers over the last 1 lb. box of chocolate), surgery, and trying to edit at least 1/3 of my WIP.
If I don't "see" you til then then I hope that you your holiday's are amazing!

Back in Action!
Hi y'all!
I'm now back from hiatus and wanted to make a few announcements. First, thanks to all of you for sticking with me during my hiatus- I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it!
A lot happened in September and I'm glad to be back- from starting my masters, to my Birthday, to the blog's 2nd Birthday (I can't believe it's been 2 years!), to the blog hitting 100,000 pageviews (I guess that I have a second thing to thank y'all for ;) ).
As I have started my masters (and my course load is quite heavy- 40 assignments in one semester, not to mention probably at least a thousand pages in readings? You bet! :P ). I don't *think* that I will be able to post my regular 2-4 reviews a week, however I am going to try my best to post at least one a week!
And have no fears, there will still be lots of new content on the blog- I've decided to feature authors on the blog a lot more, therefore you will be seeing author guest posts/ interviews/ excerpts/ giveaways and all of that jazz on the blog at least once a week.
That being said, if you are an author (indie/ self-published/ traditional/ WHATEVER) and would like to be featured on the blog in some manner feel free to contact me at averys(dot)book(dot)nook(at)hotmail(dot)ca! I've already started to schedule authors for November, so the sooner you contact me, the better!
Again, thanks everyone for your patience and continued support, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it! <3>3>

MIA-ish
Hey y'all, I just wanted to let y'all know that I might be a bit MIA-ish for the next couple of weeks. I have less than 2 weeks of school left (AKA I have to write more essays and study for more exams that I can keep track of). But that's okay, seeing as this is my last year of university! Errr... Scratch that, last year of my undergrad since I am off to grad school next year... ;)
If need be you can email me at averys.book.nook@hotmail.ca or find me over on Twitter- @AverysBookNook.
See you then!

MIA...
Hey y'all! I just wanted to apologize for being pretty lame on the blogging front lately (both in my personal blogging and visiting all of your fantabulous blogs). I didn't expect this end-of-the-school-year-smackdown I am currently experiencing. I am hoping to be back to blogging, commenting and all of that jazz within the next week and a half or so (and until then I have some reviews I wrote a few weeks back that I can post).
Thanks a bunch for your patience and understanding!
