Today is the last week of one of my most favourite weeks in the book blogging community- the Top Ten lists of 2012! This year's Top Ten of 2012 is hosted by Lisa from A Life Bound By Books, Jessica from Confessions of a Bookaholic, Jaime from Two Chicks on Books, Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and Rachel from Fiktshun!
*In no particular order. Because... Seriously I don't know which I want more than the others*

1) "Isla and the Happily Ever After" by Stephanie Perkins: I love Stephanie Perkins, like, LOVE LOVE. I think that it's safe to say that I have a girl crush on her. Why? BECAUSE SHE CREATED BOTH CRICKET AND ETIENNE! So admittedly I have little idea what this book is about (and there is still no cover), but Ashley and I have BIG ideas (basically the above image- plus robots and each of the previous characters putting all of their various talents to use).2) "The Indigo Spell" by Richelle Mead: With an ending like that of "The Golden Lily" I NEED this book (Ummmm.... Have you read the second chapter of this yet? NO! DO IT! You can find it HERE).
3) "Unravel Me" by Tahereh Mafi: I have no words for this book. Basically "Shatter Me" is one of my most favourite books of all time and I need this book. STAT. Especially with the knowledge that Warner plays an even larger role in it (I don't know about y'all but I am oddly drawn to Warner).
4) "Detergent" by Veronica Roth: With "Insurgent's" ending, which rivals that of one of M. Night Shyamalan's films, this is another book that I NEED- I NEED to better understand how and why the Chicago of this world came to be how it is. Also, I need a Four fix.
5) "Clockwork Princess" by Cassie Clare: With Cassie being my favourite author of all time there is no question why this is one of my most highly anticipated books of 2013. Jem or Will? JEM OR WILL? Or *gasp* neither?
6) "Dead Silence" by Kimberly Derting: Gawd. Now when I look over these books I realize that SO MANY of my favourite book series are drawing to a close. While I'm excited for this installment of Jay and Vi I'm also sad because it means no more Jay and Vi.
7) "The Rising" by Kelley Armstrong: While I do like Maya, Rafe, and the gang, I am most excited for this book because Chloe and Derek will be making an appearance in it!
8) "With All My Soul" by Rachel Vincent: This ending to this series has been a long time coming- I can remember way back when when I ran out on the release date of the first to purchase it! Like with my Four Fix I need a Tod fix!
9) "The Elite" by Kiera Cass: I loved "The Selection" I thought that it was so lighthearted and fun, but I'm looking forward to this book where I hope that all of the palace's secrets are revealed.
10) "Scarlet" by Marissa Meyer: Admittedly I have had an ARC of this book sitting on my shelves untouched for the past couple of months. Why? Because I am waiting til closer to its release date to read it! I can't wait until I can finally dig in and meet both Scarlet and Wolf!
There are so many good books on your list. I am looking forward to The Elite and Dead Silence.

I agree with ALL OF THESE!!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting really excited for The Rising. Now that I'm close to the end of Women of the Otherworld I'm definitely going to re-read all the YA ones as well, hopefully in time for this release.
Here are my Looking Forward to 2013 picks.
Okay, it's no secret I'm dying to read The Indigo Spell, but I'm so so so excited for Isla and the Happily Ever After! There isn't much info out there about it, but just knowing that Josh will be back makes me all happy inside. I have a huge crush on Josh, have since AatFK, and I can't wait to see him again!!

HAHAHA! I love the 'Detergent' and I'm totally looking forward to book three too! Your list rocks, I'm looking forward to so many, like Scarlet and Unravel Me. I really need to read Bloodlines, I keep seeing the third book on most anticipated in 2013 lists!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2013!
I'm really excited for The Elite too Avery! I thoroughly enjoyed The Selection and can't wait to see what happens next. I need to get caught up on Insurgent too, I still haven't read that. Fail:)

Ideally Cartier Replica, Breitling is probably the most high-priced watch makes under the sun Breitling Replica. The very first version of this unique writst watch may cost a single a small fortune Cartier Replica.
