Stacking the Shelves

To support my fellow Canadian bloggers I have decided to participate in Stacking the Shelves created by Tygna over at Tygna's Reviews. As Tygna writes, "Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!"

Bought
  • "The Book of Spells" by Kate Brian (Ditto with "Bewitching Season")
  • "The Trouble With Mr. Darcy" by Sharon Lathan ("Pride and Prejudice" is one of my most favourite things of all time- both the movie adaptation and the book. Whenever I stumble across a retelling of it in some way, shape or form- for instance, "Mr. Darcy's Daughters"- I HAVE to read it, therefore when I saw this at Chapters I couldn't pass it up)
  • "Bewitching Season" by Marissa Doyle (Lately I have been on a historical fantasy kick, therefore when I saw this I knew it was right up my alley)
  • "Shadow Bound" by Rachel Vincent (Rachel has been one of my most favourite authors since I was 16 or 17, so I can't wait to see what she has in store for us with her latest installment in her "Unbound" series!)
  • "Shadowspell" by Jenna Black (I have heard lots of good things about this series so when I saw that this book was only $4.99 I had to pick it up! Now I just have to figure out what book it is- I think its the second?)

Traded (Thanks to Ashley over at Book Labyrinth!)
  • "Darker Still" by Leanna Renee Hibeber
  • "The Last Princess" by Galaxy Craze
  • "Purity" by Jackson Pearce

  3. I see you took advantage of some sales this week! Chapters' sales shelf is a dangerous thing I find - I usually just try to avoid it or else I'm leaving the store with an armful of books!

  4. Niiiice! Can't wait to read Shadow Bound myself! I seriously haven't been able to read practically any of the books I've bought this year almost because I've been reading ARCs! So I can't wait to read Shadow Bound! Have soooo much to read and so little time to read them all!

    Here's my STS

    Have a GREAT day!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I really appreciate it!

Though I appreciate awards I have decided to make my blog an "award-free zone". Unfortunately I do not have the time to hold up my end of award-giving. But again, I appreciate you thinking of me!
