All These Things I've Done (Birthright)Title: All These Things I've Done
Author: Gabrielle Zevin
Release Date: September 27th, 2011

From Goodreads:  "In 2083, chocolate and coffee are illegal, paper is hard to find, water is carefully rationed, and New York City is rife with crime and poverty. And yet, for Anya Balanchine, the sixteen-year-old daughter of the city's most notorious (and dead) crime boss, life is fairly routine. It consists of going to school, taking care of her siblings and her dying grandmother, trying to avoid falling in love with the new assistant D.A.'s son, and avoiding her loser ex-boyfriend. That is until her ex is accidently poisoned by the chocolate her family manufactures and the police think she's to blame. Suddenly, Anya finds herself thrust unwillingly into the spotlight—at school, in the news, and most importantly, within her mafia family."

  1. Hmm that sounds interesting. The title sounds familiar to me for some reason, but the description doesn't. Realize that titles can be used multiple times and sometimes that makes it hard for me to remember which book with which author. Oh well! :)

  2. Ooooo never heard of this one Avery, but I love that blurb! I love a good mystery, and this sounds like it has the potential to have a lot of twists and turns and unexpected things happening:)

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I really appreciate it!

Though I appreciate awards I have decided to make my blog an "award-free zone". Unfortunately I do not have the time to hold up my end of award-giving. But again, I appreciate you thinking of me!
