In My Mailbox (my first)!

In My Mailbox is a weekly post hosted by Kirsti at The Story Siren as a chance to share the books we've bought or received over the past week.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to be doing my first "In My Mailbox"... I always order books from online and get them shipped to me, but I wanted to wait to do my first "IMM" for when I got my first book from a publisher/ author to review (should I have ever been so lucky for that to have happened)... And it did (granted, I won't be reviewing the book until Feb, but it is the thought that counts)!
So here we go (I apologize in advance for the crummy picture)!

"The Last Sacrifice" by Richelle Mead- Bought (but you already knew that since I have reviewed it/ read it twice already)
"The Hunger Games" Trilogy- Bought (I know, I know, I am about the last person on earth to have read this series... But I am totally on book two now!)
"Blue" by Lou Aronica- For Review (Thanks Lou, Tracee L. Gleichner, and Pump Up Your Books!)

And, though this little guy didn't technically come in the mailbox, he did come into out home/ family this week. He was a stray living outside of my parents store. He is so tiny and chubby (he doesn't really walk- he waddles)... May I present... Oreo!
He is so friendly for being a stray/ never being around people before. You just have to look at him and he will start non-stop purring...  And he loves to curl up beside me when I read. I think I am in love... ;)

PS. don't forget to check out MY FANTABULOUS FIRST GIVEAWAY!

  1. Aww Oreo is a total cutie!! Yay for rescuing him! I'm kind of jealous of your Hunger Games boxset. I do prefer the UK covers a little, but the boxset like that of the HB's looks so smart and pretty! But I didn't love Mockingjay, so I won't spend the money on it. For once, my commen sense is prevailing ;)

    Happy reading!

  7. NOT the last person to read the trilogy. I have all three on my tbr and I have yet to read them. :)

Btw, you can enter my pup's kitty giveaway if you like. :) He's so cute. My kitty didn't really purr. I mean, if you were raised by a pit bull who can't purr, I guess you don't learn it. :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I really appreciate it!

Though I appreciate awards I have decided to make my blog an "award-free zone". Unfortunately I do not have the time to hold up my end of award-giving. But again, I appreciate you thinking of me!
