Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop

Jennifer over At Crazy For Books asks us for this weeks Book Blogger Hop question:

"What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?"

At this moment, since I am trying to biggasize my followers, I think that I would be kinda disappointed if I were to lose a follower, but I don't think it would be something that would really wreck my day...

I can understand why people would stop following a blog, in the time that I have really started picking up on my posting/ following blogs and whatnot (so a few months), I have started following at least 70-80 blogs. Sometimes I will follow up to 5-6/day! What I find difficult is when I have a short period of time to spend on blogger and I have a gazillion blog updates to look at and this is primarily because I do follow quite a few and most of them are updated at least once a day (and I do read almost every blog update from the blogs that I follow, though I may not always comment on them). And I would understand that my followers might be in the same situation, so many blogs to read and so little time. And because so, you gottsa prune some out (not that I have). Also, if there was a blog that you were following which  was no longer updated, or had changed drastically from what it originally was, I can understand no longer following it.

So yes... That is my feelings on the entire losing followers/ stop following blogs situation. ;)

PS. Don't forget about my FANTABULOUS FIRST EVER GIVEAWAY!

  1. I'm always a little bummed when I lose followers but make every effort to
turn every lost follower into a learning experience so I can improve my
    performance.

On the flip side, I only stop following people when they give me a reason to
such as being totally off message or being too controversial in an negative,
    over-the-top way.

    Happy Book Blogger Hop Friday!

  3. It's pretty sad when a follower stops following. I lost one just this week, but then I gained 2 more. But still it hurts. I can't ever really bring myself to unfollow a blog. I might stop visiting for awhile, but I eventually come back.

But sometimes it hard for me to comment sometimes. Especially if there's a review on a book I don't care to read, I don't want to leave a meaningless comment that comes out somewhat negative because the book details don't attract me to it. So I usually visit and look around without commenting, but I still follow.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I really appreciate it!

Though I appreciate awards I have decided to make my blog an "award-free zone". Unfortunately I do not have the time to hold up my end of award-giving. But again, I appreciate you thinking of me!
