So over the last couple of months I have been blogging about Mike Tompkins (here and here). A really talented musician/ music producer who I went to high school with. A few months ago he blew up on Youtube with his a capella rendition of "Teenage Dreams/ Just the Way You" are... And later with "Dynamite".
The craziest thing is that he makes every single sound in his songs using only his mouth! That's right, there is no instrumentals playing whatsoever. That is sheer talent if I ever did see it ;). He was on Ellen a few weeks back and after that the media surrounding him just kinda dropped off...
Imagine my surprise then this morning when I turn on Today as I am getting ready for school and there he is alongside Matt, Al, and Meredith! And teaching them how to recreate "Dynamite"! I thought that it was so great that I had to share it with y'all...
